Awayish works with an FCRA-compliant screening partner to process applications securely and efficiently. In most cases, applicants receive results within 24–48 hours once all required information is submitted. Please note: Awayish does not make rental decisions. All approvals, denials, and final timelines are determined directly by the property manager or landlord. Our role is to streamline the process so you can apply once and use that same application across participating properties.
For property managers and landlords, Awayish offers a simple subscription-based model with no hidden costs or commissions. Pricing is based on property size, so you always know what to expect.
For tenants, the only cost is the application fee and Awayish MatchPass™ when applying.
Yes — with Awayish, your application works across all participating properties. Once submitted, it’s valid for 60 days and can be applied to multiple partnered vacancies without starting over. This means you don’t need to fill out a new application for each individual property, saving you both time and money.
Awayish is not a property management company or landlord. We are a leasing platform that connects prequalified renters with participating landlords and property managers. Our role is to simplify the process by providing one secure application that works across multiple properties, helping renters avoid duplicate fees while giving landlords access to applicants who already meet their published criteria. All final leasing decisions, showings, and agreements are handled directly by the property manager or owner.
Application fees are collected and processed by our third-party application provider and are non-refundable. The Awayish MatchPass™ fee is also non-refundable, as it covers the cost of securely submitting your application and accessing matches across partnered properties.
Move-in timelines vary depending on the property owner or management company. Once your application is approved and your lease is signed, many properties allow tenants to move in within 24–48 hours. However, exact timing is set by the property manager or landlord, so be sure to confirm their specific policies before planning your move.
Units are removed from the market once a lease agreement has been signed with the property owner or management company. Until then, availability may change as applications are reviewed and approved by the property.
At this time, Awayish does not partner with Section 8 or other income-based housing programs or properties. We currently focus on connecting renters and property managers within the conventional rental market.
Your Awayish application is valid for 60 days from the date your screening is completed. If you haven’t found a rental within that time, you can submit a new application to keep your information current and continue matching with participating properties. New applications require the third-party application fee and the Awayish MatchPass™. All leasing decisions and timelines are set by the property manager or landlord.
