Do I get random leads?
No. You only receive a renter’s MatchPass™ summary when that renter selects your property and requests to move forward.

A standardized snapshot of the applicant information you need to screen efficiently—organized for quick review and side-by-side comparisons (not raw credit reports).
Do renters see their MatchPass™ summary?
No. MatchPass™ is shared only with partner properties that applicants choose to match with. We do this so information crosses as few channels as possible.
What does the renter complete on Awayish?
They complete one standard rental application through Awayish. Their answers and background report are then used to determine fit and to create the summary you receive when they match to your listing.
Can I set my own requirements and criteria?
Yes. This is actually the only criteria we use. Even if you use different crieria across multiple properties, we're set up to integrate it into your personalized portal. We'll collect these details up front when you first set up a property. This way your review process stays consistent.
How do I receive applications and summaries?
You’ll receive them through your landlord portal (and any notifications you have enabled). Everything stays tied to the specific listing the renter selected.
How fast can I get a qualified applicant?
Speed varies by season, but the goal is fewer unqualified tours and fewer back-and-forth messages—so decisions happen faster once a renter matches. Once your listing is live, you're visible to anyone that matches to your property.
Can I update listings and availability myself?
Yes. You can publish, edit, and manage your listings through the landlord portal, including availability and key details. We actually require landlords to keep their listings up to date (including marking them unavailable).
What does it cost to partner with Awayish?
Awayish runs on a simple monthly subscription — just $30 per month, no matter how many units you manage.
Is Awayish a property management company?
No. Awayish is a leasing platform that helps you market listings and review applicants more efficiently. You still approve tenants and execute leases directly.
Does Awayish make the final approval decision?
No. Awayish helps standardize the intake and deliver decision-ready context; the property makes the final decision and issues the lease.
